I've shown my paintings at galleries in Rhode Island, Texas, and NYC. I studied art at NYU and Parsons. Most recently, I completed a MOMA certificate program in the techniques of the New York School artists and Post-War abstract painting. My work is both calming and invigorating. Each piece dances between the abstract and figurative worlds. My work is large-scale with gouache on canvas. I work in multiple layers and approach the canvas from all angles. As a surfer, gouache helps connect my work to my main muse—the ocean. I work to discover new expressions by playing with translucency, movement, and impermanence.
